Privacy policy

The short version: the only personal information this website collects is what you type into the contact form, and it is used to reply to you. There are no cookies, no analytics and no tracking of any kind.

Who we are

Nano Clean is the operating name of 517565 AB Ltd., a commercial cleaning business in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. You can reach us at nanocleaned@gmail.com or 780-914-0323.

What this website collects

Nothing at all, unless you fill in the contact form. If you do, we receive what you typed: your name, phone number, and optionally your business name, email address, the type of space, your city, a description of what needs cleaning, and up to five photos you chose to attach.

Sent along with that form, automatically, are your IP address, the country your request came from, which page you sent the form from, and the date and time. These come from the connection itself rather than from anything you type, and they are kept because they help us tell a genuine enquiry from automated spam.

What we do with it

We use it to reply to you and to prepare a quote. That is the whole purpose.

We do not sell it. We do not share it with anyone else. We do not add you to a mailing list, and we do not use it for advertising.

Cookies and tracking — there are none

This site sets no cookies. It contains no analytics, no advertising pixels, no session recording and no third-party trackers. Nothing follows you between pages or between visits. That is why you have never seen a cookie banner here.

Web fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means Google's servers see the request for those font files. No personal information is sent with it.

Where the information is stored

Enquiries and any photos you attach are stored with Cloudflare, which hosts this website, and a copy of each enquiry is emailed to our own Gmail account. Both are operated by companies based in the United States, so the information may be stored or processed outside Canada.

The enquiry is saved before the email is sent, deliberately, so that an email failure can never lose your message.

How this website uses Google services

This website uses the Gmail API for one purpose only: to send the enquiry notification email from Nano Clean's own Gmail account, so that the email comes from us rather than from a third-party mail service.

It does not read, download, store or analyse any Gmail message, contact or other Google account data, and it has permission to do nothing except send. No Google user data is transferred to anyone else, used for advertising, or used to train any model. Nano Clean's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for as long as they are useful — to do the work, to quote again later, and for ordinary business records. If you would rather we did not, say so and we will delete yours.

Your choices

Email nanocleaned@gmail.com and you can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. There is no form and no process; a plain email is fine.

Children

This is a commercial cleaning business. The site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
